What is My FilmTracker?

My FilmTracker is your personal FilmTracker desktop.  The MY FILMTRACKER home page gives you overview information relating to your groups and projects.  This is also where members administer many of their services, such as groups, tracking, discussions, projects, profiles, lists, and account. Below you’ll find a brief explanation of the services on the MY FILMTRACKER home page.

THE MY FILMTRACKER HOME PAGE

• USER MESSAGES. Alerts related to your FilmTracker account, such as new licenses you’ve been assigned, new users requesting to join your groups, etc.
• RECENT TRACKING. Summarizes the five most recently posted projects in your tracking boards
• MY LISTS. Your five most recently edited/updated personal lists
• MY PROJECTS. The most recent projects you’ve posted on FilmTracker, using MY PROJECTS
• RECENT DISCUSSIONS. Summarizes the five most recently started discussion in your groups
• NEW MATERIAL IN THE MARKETPLACE. New projects that FilmTracker users have posted in the Marketplace
• NEWS. Entertainment Headlines from the business today
• BOOKSTORE. A link to our entertainment industry bookstore.

• DISCUSSIONS. Links to your FilmTracker Discussions. More information on discussions.

• MY GROUPS. FilmTracker's groups allow you to create a group with your friends and colleagues to share information and jointly develop new projects.  Groups can be public or private, large or small.  Group members may share tracking boards, discussion boards, accounts and much more.   Learn more about our groups!

• MY PROFILE. Where FilmTracker members edit/enter their personal information, including contact information, company information, username and password.  This is also where users decide whether to make their information available to other users or not.  More information on My Profile.

• MY LISTS. My Lists enables users to create customized lists of their favorite writers/directors/producers/executives/projects and any other data FilmTracker follows.  You may create lists of people and projects in the Infosource (if you are a current subscriber) and may keep these lists private or allow access to members of your groups.  More information on My Lists.

• MY ACCOUNT. Where FilmTracker users manage their accounts.  This allows users to use FilmTracker’s pay services and automatically charge them to a credit card without having to enter and transmit this information repeatedly.  You can create a group or individual accounts, each with a different credit card.   When creating a group account, you may give one or many groups access to this account.  These group members can then use FilmTracker’s pay services (such as and INFOSOURCE) and charge purchases to the group account.  More information on My Account.
